We are currently looking for an Associate Director, Analyst Services to join IQVIA!

The Associate Director, Analyst Services plays a leadership role within IQVIA’s Analyst Services organization, responsible for the delivery of high‑quality, custom analytical engagements that transform IQVIA data assets into actionable commercial insights for life sciences clients. The role combines client-facing engagement, analytical oversight, commercial accountability, and people management, ensuring Analyst Services consistently delivers value, quality, and scalability across regions and client segments.

Analyst Services provides custom-made analysis and insights leveraging the breadth of IQVIA Global Market Insights data assets, methodologies, and subject‑matter expertise, with outputs delivered in formats such as PowerPoint, Excel dashboards, and advanced visual analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for clients, partnering closely with Sales, Account teams and adjacent IQVIA teams (e.g. Consulting) to shape and deliver bespoke analytical solutions aligned to client objectives

  • Translate client business questions into well-defined analytical scopes, ensuring commercial oversight on Analyst Services engagements, including scoping, pricing input, effort estimation, feasibility, clarity, and value creation, in collaboration with commercial stakeholders

  • Ensure analytical rigor, methodological soundness, and appropriate use of IQVIA data assets, with a deep understanding of data coverage, limitations, and applications

  • Oversee and quality‑assure the end‑to‑end delivery client deliverables of complex custom analyses across areas such as forecasting, market assessments, competitive analysis, patient analysis, pipeline analysis, and portfolio strategy across all areas of the pharmaceutical industry

  • Support revenue growth through repeat business, solution expansion, and contribution to Analyst Services value propositions and capabilities.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop analysts and managers within Analyst Services, fostering high performance, analytical excellence, and career progression.

  • Set clear expectations on delivery quality, timelines, and professional standards, providing regular coaching and feedback.

  • Contribute to workforce planning, skills development, and knowledge sharing across Analyst Services teams.

  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture aligned with IQVIA values.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Economics, Business, Statistics, Data Science).

  • Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, MBA) preferred.

Experience

  • Typically 5-8 years significant experience in healthcare analytics, life sciences consulting, market research, or related analytical services.

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex analytical projects and managing client relationships in a professional services environment.

  • Knowledge and background working with syndicated global datasets especially IQVIA preferred

  • People management or team leadership experience, with responsibility for coaching and performance management preferred
