Company Description

An enterprise client is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Amazon Advertising to help shape and oversee Amazon advertising strategies and delivery for clients. This role will help define campaign objectives, measure performance and impact, and ensure advertising programs align with broader client goals and KPIs.

The selected consultant will also help develop innovative ideas through a test-and-learn approach, contribute to Amazon advertising best practices, and share successful strategies across the practice. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Amazon advertising professional who enjoys working with clients, leading delivery teams, and helping grow knowledge and capabilities across the practice.

Job Description

This opportunity is ideal for a senior Amazon advertising professional with strong campaign management, analytical, client-facing, and leadership experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of Amazon advertising campaigns, including planning, budgeting, targeting, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze Amazon advertising campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Help develop and improve Amazon advertising best practices, processes, and the overall practice roadmap.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and promote innovative campaign concepts using a test-and-learn approach.
  • Lead and mentor team members, helping grow Amazon advertising knowledge and capabilities across the practice.
  • Help shape and communicate the organization's Retail Media offering to internal teams, current clients, and prospective clients.
  • Actively manage delivery team workloads to maximize output while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Amazon advertising.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon advertising and campaign management.
  • Demonstrable success delivering Amazon Sponsored Ads campaigns.
  • Excellent presentation, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process-oriented approach.
  • Confident, dynamic, engaging, and authentic communication style.
  • Passion for continuous learning and helping others develop their knowledge and capabilities.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with Amazon DSP.
  • Experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC).
  • Experience developing Amazon advertising best practices or processes.
  • Experience leading or mentoring other advertising professionals.
  • Experience working with Retail Media strategies and client-facing projects.

Additional Information

  • Project Type: Ongoing project
  • Engagement: Hourly contract
  • Expected Workload: Less than 30 hours per week
  • Initial Duration: 1–3 months
  • Seniority: Expert
  • Location: UK or Europe, within approximately ±2 hours of the UK time zone
  • Availability: Monday–Friday, 1:00 AM–6:00 AM UK time
  • Higher rates may be considered for highly experienced professionals.
