We work with our clients to provide a single point of contact from project briefing stage through to their occupation of the space. This involves us taking the brief, appointing the necessary sub-consultants and procuring the construction works.

Role Overview

As an Associate in Design & Build Sales Management, you will play a key role in supporting business growth across the UK. This position focuses on driving sales initiatives, managing client relationships, and coordinating proposals for workplace design + build projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that reflect Cushman & Wakefield’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

· Support the development and execution of sales strategies for Design + Build services across the UK. Based on agreed KPI’s, develop direct sales opportunities from both our existing Clients / frameworks and identify new external sales targets.

· Track market intelligence on upcoming projects via internal & external sources.Identify new business opportunities and nurture leads through proactive engagement.

· Lead and document weekly Sales calls.

· Prepare and coordinate high-quality pitch documentation, tender submissions, and speculative proposals.

· Collaborate with other service lines (Leasing, Agency, Capital Markets, Global Occupier Services) to create integrated solutions and cross-selling opportunities.

Client Engagement

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and industry partners.

· Participate in client meetings, presentations, and networking events to represent Cushman & Wakefield’s Design + Build offering.

· Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery of proposals.

· Continuously provide clients with market intelligence and C&W prepared ‘Thought leadership’ to maintain relationships.

· Client Care – hold quarterly client reviews with existing Principal Delivery Clients as agree with leadership.

Project Coordination

· Work with design and project management teams to support the development of client briefs, space plans, and budget estimates.

· Contribute to marketing initiatives, including case studies, brochures, and digital campaigns.

· Collect lessons learned and transfer them to future teams working on new projects to ensure continuous learning. Review feedback on RFP’s and pitches lost, gather data, identify any trends then strategise how to combat them.

Skills & Experience

· Education: Degree in Business, Real Estate, Design, or related field preferred.

· Experience:

o 1–3 years in sales, business development, or client-facing roles within commercial real estate or design & build.

o Familiarity with tender processes and project coordination.

· Skills:

o Excellent communication and presentation skills.

o Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.

o Proficiency in MS Office; CRM Salesforce experience advantageous.
