We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Cost Consultant to join our dynamic team in London. In this role, you will lead cost consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring financial efficiency and commercial success from inception to completion. Your expertise will guide clients through cost-effective strategies, delivering value and excellence in every project phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee cost consultancy services for various projects, including new builds, fit-outs, and refurbishments, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Financial Management: Provide accurate cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting to maintain financial health throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing strategic advice to drive project success.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, surveyors, and other consultants, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Utilize data from Cushman & Wakefield’s global network and industry trends to generate informed cost benchmarking.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of the cost consultancy team

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • MRICS qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy within a consultancy environment.
  • Proven track record in pre- and post-contract cost management services.
  • Experience acting as Employer's Agent or in a Project Management capacity is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of business development and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrable technical competence and knowledge of the real estate industry.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
