THE ROLE

We are looking for a multi-faceted Content Specialist to join the Strada Marketing team. The ideal candidate is an exceptionally strong communicator, has strong storytelling skills, can engage and persuade through the art of content, and can work seamlessly in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines while delivering with creativity, high quality, and attention to detail.

The content specialist will need to be versed in writing for multiple channels and audiences. The role will merit someone who can flex their writing muscle to suit different requirements whether it is writing for the web, drafting copy for RFP proposals, copywriting for blogs and helping with some of our internal communication requirements. The role will report into the Head of Creative, Content and Digital but will support the varied needs of the marketing team and the broader organisation. The individual would also provide support to the Internal Communications Director to help provide writing coverage across the various internal workstreams and departments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create engaging content to support the Strada brand across multiple mediums and audience types.

  • Write engaging, crisp content with strong hooks.

  • Support varied writing requirements from web and email copy to RFP proposals and blogs.

  • Support internal communications writing requirements to ensure need know information is distilled to the business in a clear, succinct and timely manner.

  • Edit and polish existing content to improve readability across both marketing and comms.

  • Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.

  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to script authentic narratives for all content, including video scripts, digital assets, presentations, and microsites.

  • Create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and/or simply provides information, across a wide variety of digital platforms.

  • Ensure coordination between cross-functional teams as it pertains to content use.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Creative writer and thinker with a passion for storytelling and development of compelling messaging.

  • Proficient in non-fiction/corporate writing, including grammar and editing.

  • Understanding of and ability to craft copy for a range of different marketing assets, comms channels and audiences.

  • Ability to think critically and develop creative approaches.

  • Ability to write the same story in different styles and for different audiences both external and internal.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal direction under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, and able to adapt style and approach as necessary.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact/work with own and other teams at all levels of the organization.

  • Attention to detail to ensure copy is free of errors.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2-3 years of experience of copywriting experience ideally in tech, HR, or a combination thereof.

  • A Graduate/ Post-graduate in Communications, Journalism or English language.

  • Excellent portfolio of work which spans different written forms/formats and audience types.
