  • Job Title: Associate Content Manager – Social Media Video (Maternity Cover)
  • Job Summary: This role will be supporting Pokémon Social Media Team with ownership of, generation, coordination and production of impactful video assets across European Social Media channels, including YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and beyond. This position will also be a co-owner of efficiencies workflows and data-based content improvement alongside wider Content Management team.

What you’ll do

  • Key participation in evolving key strategic creative and workflow processes, making sure the department can meet and “rightsize” ever increasing video needs and considerations.
  • Creative lead for short-form and longer-form Social Media video content across multiple European channels, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and beyond.
  • Collaborating with London Social Media Manager and Associates to generate highly engageable content to meet London office business aims.
  • Co-ownership of team design and video workflows, producing, optimising, and enhancing Social Media Content production through existing internal and external pipelines:
    • Media Production Teams
    • Corporate Design Teams
    • Localisation Support Teams
    • External vendors, including individual budget management.
  • Cost-effectively adapting existing assets being supplied via other Marketing departments into wider content sets for amplification, e.g. advertising and promotional assets.
  • Continually evaluating performance data and improving assets for optimal success.
  • Helping develop cross-marketing approach through asset presentation and content flow.
  • Collaborating with wider TPCi European marketing team on full-scale Marketing campaigns, influencer activities, and more.
  • Attending TPCi events and tournaments as needed, assisting the wider Social Media Team in content creation and community engagement.
  • Assisting the Social Media Manager on special design work and ad hoc requests.               

What you’ll bring

  • Two (2) to four (4) years of relevant professional experience in media marketing or video production, or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
  • Strong visual design and photography skills.
  • Proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator.
  • Strong interest in videogames and popular culture a plus.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Strong, clear communication skills.
  • Ideal candidate will have recent Social Media experience in social media or community communications for a well-known entertainment property.
  • Detailed knowledge of Social Media platforms, including brand-specific features and functionality for YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and beyond.
  • Experience with strict brand and/ or legal guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between £45,000.00 - £53,437.50 per year. The full range is £45,000.00 - £67,500.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
