BeyondFS helps financial institutions build high-performing Financial Crime programmes that reduce risk, satisfy regulators, and run efficiently.
Clients turn to us when their change or remediation programmes aren’t delivering effectively or fast enough, when new regulations arise, or when they need clearer insight into their risks and stronger capability to manage them. We apply proven, practical methods that restore confidence, regain control, build momentum, and deliver the results clients need.
In recent years, we’ve grown rapidly, building a team of senior FinCrime specialists with deep credibility across financial crime, change delivery, and risk and advisory services. We are in the fortunate position to benefit from the wider industry shift away from large and established consultancies to agile and focused firms that can deliver true value at pace.
By rolling up our sleeves and working alongside client teams, we make Financial Crime programmes stronger, more efficient, and able to sustain results long after we’ve gone.
Our Associates work with us on a contract basis alongside our permanent team, and we are always interested to add to our Associate network. We are committed to engaging the best people; the wellbeing and personal happiness of our team is a top priority and our values-driven, transparent culture is designed to enable our people to thrive.
- Prior experience as a consultant (6 - 10+ years) within a recognised management consultancy firm. A deep understanding of how to deliver and/or lead consultancy engagements is absolutely essential.
- Expertise in client onboarding and or lifecycle management. This might include specific knowledge of AML and/or KYC. Knowledge of client refresh cycles (ongoing due diligence) would be beneficial.
- Strong project and programme management experience, with the ability to work effectively within mixed BeyondFS and client teams.
- A professional, high quality and highly organised approach with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative and team-orientated style - we have no room for big egos, we succeed and fail as a team!
- Flexibility to work on-site with clients as appropriate, predominantly in London but with the ability to travel to Europe if needed for specific workshops and meetings. You will also spend some time working for home.
We are particularly looking for an Associate with the following skillset;
- Experience in defining and implementing governance and reporting; ensuring regular progress reporting management against milestones and developing contingency plans
- Experience reporting on population of items for ‘remediation’ within a defined timeframe
- Experience working alongside data teams to ensure they have an understanding of the key data elements required to provide accurate reporting and population management
- Proactive management of Risks, Actions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID), including running workshops to resolve
- Track record of managing senior stakeholders and demonstrating ability to tailor communications
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams (legal, compliance, control functions) to solve practical business challenges with a proactive and solutions oriented mindset.
