The Team:

  • An international team (with more than 30 nationalities) with complementary education and experience in the investment, medical, scientific, strategic and operational sectors
  • Composed of alumni from: INSEAD, Berkeley, Georgetown, Bocconi, HEC Paris, Ponts et Chaussées, ESSEC, Imperial College, Dartmouth, etc.
  • Professional backgrounds: Private Equity (3i, Siparex, USS Ltd, Barings, capiton), Consulting (A.T. Kearney, Bain, McKinsey), M&A (Lazard, EY, KPMG, PwC), Industry (Biotronik, Cerba, Pharmacy, Veterinary)

Your Role:

Joining ARCHIMED Consulting Team, you will play an instrumental role to enhance and scale our internal market intelligence initiative towards our investment team & our portfolio companies.

As an Associate you will lead internal commercial due diligences, working closely with our investment team. You will drive the optimization of our due diligence process, both internally through mentoring & training, and externally, managing advisors relationships.

Upstream, you will actively participate in ARCHIMED strategic reflection within our sector teams, contributing to target markets prioritization.

Downstream, you will also contribute to shape & deliver on a large-scale value creation initiative for our portfolio companies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify new sub-sectors of investment & build our investment thesis
  • Organize & deliver sub-sector deep dives
  • Conduct internal commercial due diligences on targets and exit due diligences
  • Manage strategic assessment projects for our portfolio companies
  • Reinforce our healthcare sectors market watch
  • Handle our partnerships with strategy consulting providers, oversee external CDD or strategy projects
  • Develop our internal market intelligence culture by delivering focused trainings

Requirements

Aptitudes and Skills we look for:

  • Experienced strategy consulting professional - 5 to 7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, Venture Capital / Private Equity with a strong exposure to due diligence
  • Expertise in healthcare industries – Strong knowledge of Diagnostics, MedTech, Life Science, and/or Pharma Services industries
  • Business acumen – Ability to identify emerging sector trends, to build or challenge an investment thesis
  • Leadership – Capacity to drive decision making in a deal process or in interaction with our portfolio companies
  • Communication - Excellent communication, interpersonal & public speaking skills
  • Attitude – Passionate individual with an agile & hands-on mindset, able to work in close team dynamics
  • Fluent English
