Associate Client Executive

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team which is designed to support our growth by nourishing, building and growing relationships with our client base.

Responsible for working with our existing small and mid-tier accounts you will be one of the main points of contacts for our customers by being their ‘Trusted Adviser’.

About The Role:

As a Associate Client Executive, at Thomson Reuters, you will:

  • The Client Manager is responsible for the client renewal schedule and ensuring that the necessary contracts are issued and closed on time and in line with Sales targets.

  • When a customer is not comfortable or wants to expand their relationship at the renewal then the Client Manager will alert the Sales Specialist to engage the wider Account Team to establish next steps.

  • The Client Manager, working with the Sales Specialist, will be responsible for the implementation of Account Plans, where required, and contact for all accounts that have both short-term objectives and long-term goals.

  • Speaking with customers on a regular basis to confirm client experience and satisfaction – this is a client customer success role.

  • Coordinating with multiple departments and teams to ensure wider sales objectives and performance goals are met.

  • Ensuring customer invoices are understood, reconcile to requirements and when disputed work with the AR Team and client to resolve.

  • Managing new client onboarding, training and support.

About You:

To be our Associate Client Executive you will likely have/be:

  • Proactive and motivated to go above and beyond to keep customers happy

  • A problem-solving mentality

  • Superior communication skills (both written and oral) and comfortable presenting and speaking to Heads of Legal and other senior-level executives

  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts and accounts simultaneously

  • Proven experience developing creative solutions to clients out of the ordinary problems.

  • Leadership skills with an empathetic approach – our success is based on our clients’ success so you must be ready to drop everything at a moment’s notice to help.

  • Prior experience in Account Management

  • You will be – or will become – an expert in the Thomson Reuters suite of products and processes
