Overview

The Associate Brand Manager, MET, will play a key role in supporting the strategic development and commercial growth of the Joint Replacement portfolio across EMEA, with a primary focus on Mako and Enabling Technology.

This position sits within a focused EMEA marketing team and operates at the intersection of global strategy and regional execution. The role combines structured strategic contribution with hands-on implementation, supporting product launches, lifecycle management, and customer engagement initiatives across multiple markets.

The Associate Brand Manager will collaborate closely with global marketing, regional stakeholders, and country teams to ensure alignment, scalability, and sustainable portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Market Development

  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in the development of annual and long-range brand strategies aligned with global objectives

  • Contribute to EMEA business case development for pipeline products and new market opportunities

  • Partner with global stakeholders to align on go-to-market approach and regional requirements

Portfolio & Lifecycle Management

  • Support execution of product launches (phase-in) and lifecycle management activities (phase-out)

  • Contribute to positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies based on market and competitive insights

  • Collaborate with country leadership to support forecasting and demand planning

Marketing Activation & Scalability

  • Develop scalable, Pan-EMEA marketing assets and campaigns designed for localization

  • Support country marketing teams in adapting materials to local market needs

  • Contribute to the creation of customer engagement initiatives, including congresses, educational programs, facility tours, and hands-on events

Education & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify internal and external education opportunities in collaboration with the Education Manager

  • Support development of training content to strengthen product knowledge and brand perception

  • Build strong working relationships with regional marketing teams, sales leaders, and key opinion leaders

Performance Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze business performance and key brand metrics

  • Translate clinical and market insights into structured commercial recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including significant exposure to medical devices or marketing/sales within a technical or healthcare environment

  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate clinical insights into compelling value propositions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within a matrix organization

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluency in English

  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA)

  • Experience within orthopaedics, robotics, navigation, or enabling technologies

  • Experience working across EMEA markets

  • Additional EMEA language skills
