Associate Account Executive

The Associate Account Executive role is a perfect opportunity for someone with strong SDR/BDR experience who’s looking for their first taste in a closing role and rapid career progression.

SmartBear’s Enterprise Team is the best of the best in sales. These Enterprise Account Executives focus on large, six to seven figure deals in Fortune 25 accounts BUT there are a lot of small & mid-sized deals within these strategic accounts as well. This is where YOU come in – build and close your own pipeline of high velocity, transactional deals in SmartBear’s top existing accounts.

As an Associate Account Executive, you’ll get closing experience while being in the unique position to work alongside of, and learn from, the top Account Executives in the industry. Better yet, there’s clear career progression to move from an Associate Account Executive to an Account Executive I in 3-5 months.

About the role 

As an Associate Account Executive you will:  

  • Create & manage your own pipeline of Opportunities within Enterprise Accounts
  • Close deals up to $25k
  • Run upsell & cross-sell campaigns with the goal of boosting IQC (In Quarter Close)
  • Conduct a high volume of daily activities – 60-80/day
  • Receive constant training and enablement on product knowledge and sales skills

We are looking for you if you have:  

  • 10-12 months of SDR/BDR experience in the software industry
  • Experience working with mid-market to enterprise accounts
  • History of overachieving on daily, monthly & quarterly KPIs
  • Strong phone skills including ability to handle objections
  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, 6sense a plus
  • High coachability with a strong willingness to learn
  • Passionate desire to continue moving up within a sales organization
  • Local to our Galway, Ireland office.
