KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring HR controls and processes are effective and consistent.
  • Responsible for ensuring issue and action owners are reviewing and closing items in Open Pages on time
  • Responsible for extracting monthly Open Pages data for  review and action
  • Responsible for ensuring procedures are in place for key Risk and Control activities such as but not limited to:
  • Collation of the Risk Assessment Forum Pack
  • Collation of the Job Description Working Group Pack
  • Annual Job Description Attestation Process
  • Responsible for maintaining the Job Description Tracker and ensuring outstanding items are chased with outliers escalated to the EMEA People Risk Controls Manager
  • Responsible for conducting sample checks on Job Description Attestation completion
  • Responsible for conducting sample checks on Control Testing completed across the HR Department
  • Responsible for collaborating with with internal and external auditors to resolve issues and for tracking of open issues

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Understanding of HR risks and controls in a financial services environment
  • Background in HR services and processes, with understanding inherent risk and best practice mitigation.
  • Previous background with writing up Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Project management experience, coordinating multiple elements of the role with numerous stakeholders across EMEA.
  • Background supporting a business / HR team through a period of change
  • Data interrogation to identify issues, errors and risks

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Expert communicator, presenter, and collaborator; able to forge productive relationships with strategic partners and build consensus across multiple organisational levels
  • Experience delivering complex programme of work in a professional environment through to successful completion
  • Strong personal presence, to lead by example to maintain influence across internal teams.
  • A high degree of motivation, adaptability and proactive thinking
  • An appetite for information and an ability to prioritise and present valuable conclusions and summaries
