Kobalt Music is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Global Finance team on a 12-month contract. Reporting into the Accounts Receivable & Payroll Lead, you will be part of the team responsible for performing accounts payable activities for all Opex-related costs within the business, along with processing all receipts and dealing with billing queries. You will also support the broader finance team with other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

WHAT DOES A FINANCE ASSISTANT AT KOBALT DO?

  • You will be processing all daily invoices for operational costs, setting up payments as well as managing payment runs twice a week.
  • You are responsible for handling all operational costs, supplier queries (Rent / Finance / Legal costs).
  • You are responsible for processing all receipts as they are received through our ERP Netsuite and our internal system.
  • You will be responsible for managing all billing-related queries and have to raise invoices ad-hoc
  • You ensure there’s compliance with company financial processes/procedures.
  • You will be involved in supplier statement Reconciliations and bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
  • You will be working toward an automation project to enable more efficiency.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have excellent organisational and time management skills as well as great awareness of deadlines and competing priorities.
  • You are a strong team player and communicator with ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Bonus points for demonstrating strong Excel skills and previous use of Netsuite.
