What’s the role about?
As part of our Womenswear Design department you’ll be joining as our Assistant Designer who will be responsible for creating seasonal collections and be a key support function for our Knitwear department.
Who you are
- You will have a Knitwear design qualification
- Knowledge in yarns and gauges
- Strong sketching and CAD skills
- Strong market and trend awareness
- Creative with refined taste
- Self-motivated and team orientated
- Strong communication and organisational skills
What you’ll be doing
- Researching into seasonal directions and trends suitable for the Reiss aesthetic
- Creating and updating colour palettes
- Help prepare presentations, meetings and sketch review packs
- Creating all relevant detail sketches and CADS for specs and presentations
- Working alongside the technical team to fit prototype
- Working with product development on factory placement per style
