POSITION OVERVIEW
As Business Controller you will play a key role in driving commercial business unit performance by providing transparent and meaningful financial analysis, insights, and high-quality decision-making support.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Performance and KPI Achievement:
    • Support the achievement of financial targets [Sales and EBITA] and KPIs [Working Capital] by ensuring complete and accurate reporting of key metrics and financial results as well as recommending actions to address under performance.
    • Cashflow Management: Secure an optimized overall cash-flow, with a high level of focus on working capital.
    • Support Management in the preparation and presentation of monthly business reviews.
    • Perform analysis and control as related to cost of goods sold and SG&A
  • Finance business partnering and Decision support.
    • Partner with commercial team on business decision and opportunity identification, advising on risks and opportunities.
    • Ensure strategic decisions are supported by in-depth analysis and robust business cases.
    • Identify and implement process improvements across different functional business areas.
    • Link commercial teams’ business finance requirements with other support functions at Global, BU, and local entity
    • Highlight areas of business and financial risk and ensure controls are in place to monitor.
  • Budget & Forecasting
    • Support on all financial planning and forecasting activities within the Hyva Group financial planning cycle, including quarterly forecasting, annual budget, and Strategic Business Plan.

  • Global Business Controller - Recycling
  • Regional / Country commercial management team.
  • Group finance, Accounting Services, Country Financial Controllers, Treasury, Tax and Legal.
  • Supply Chain management.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Higher education - preferably economics, finance or related.
  • CIMA/ACCA qualification a strong plus.
  • Fundamental understanding of accounting and prior exposure to month-end close cycle.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Controlling, with experience in an international Manufacturing organization a plus.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written.
