JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Entertainment Global is FOX Entertainment’s centralized content sales division, providing the worldwide multi-platform marketplace with exclusive access to its diverse, rapidly expanding production pipeline and library of owned original programming and co-production partnerships.  A central component of FOX Entertainment’s long-term growth strategy is to fortify its globally recognized, world-class brand and owned distribution platforms spanning broadcast and streaming with FOX Entertainment Global’s singular focus on broadly distributing the company’s full portfolio of owned intellectual property across all genres of scripted, unscripted, and animated programming, including both film and television titles.

FOX Entertainment Global is seeking a Content Sales Assistant - EMEA. The Content Sales Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the sales team across various activities and functions, including sales and account management, as well as administrative duties. The Content Sales Assistant reports to the (S)VP, Content Sales EMEA, and works closely with other departments across the organization (Strategy & Operations, Business & Legal Affairs, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to ensure we meet and anticipate the needs of our global client base.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in day-to-day account management, including creation and curation of high-volume rights availability listings, preparation of sales pitch materials (presentations, ratings reports, etc), and addressing deliverable queries
  • Assist with marketing and events
  • Assist in analyzing territories and gathering market research
  • Manage sales tracking, including inputting client and deal information into company systems and generating regular sales reports
  • Address and troubleshoot clients' queries in a timely manner
  • Language version tracking and report preparation
  • Support the London-based department with pre-sales and post-sales processes, business development initiatives, coordination of meetings and events with clients, and any other requests
  • Provide email/call support as needed and act as the first screen/main point of contact for incoming business-related requests
  • Alongside the Sales team, provide post-market follow-ups, including but not limited to screening materials and marketing information
  • Keep an accurate record of content feedback on the internal company system in a timely fashion for internal stakeholders and producers' reports
  • Liaise with internal departments to track the availability of foreign language versions of FOX content (i.e., dubbedi.e. Dubbed versions) for our client base 
  • Proactively communicate and build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure best-in-class customer service and business practices
  • Some travel as required
  • Perform other duties as required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales, operations, or administrative role within an entertainment/media company
  • Genuine interest in administrative work
  • Self-starter and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in administrative tasks, and passionate about the entertainment industry
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Strong interest and passion in media and entertainment, with the capability to learn complex industry topics quickly
  • Working understanding of rights management as it relates to distribution
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to listen effectively, transmit information accurately and understandably, and actively seek feedback
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to efficiently support a busy team of at least five stakeholders simultaneously, while managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Promptly adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and shifting priorities
  • Aptitude and flexibility to work well on multiple projects in various phases of the sales cycle in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Confidence and professionalism in client interactions
  • Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with colleagues, customers, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Willingness to work across different time zones and adapt to the needs of international clients and teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel
