Assistant Brand Manager

Japanese Foodservice
Chiswick, London

Are you an ambitious marketer looking for the opportunity to take ownership, build international experience and help launch brands into new markets?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Assistant Brand Manager to join the Marketing team at Mizkan Euro. You’ll support our Japanese foodservice portfolio as it expands across Europe, working on everything from new product launches and packaging to campaigns, digital activity and trade events.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an FMCG marketing foundation who is ready to get stuck in, learn quickly and take genuine ownership of projects.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting the launch and growth of Japanese foodservice brands across European markets
  • Taking ownership of innovation and renovation projects, including new products and market launches
  • Coordinating artwork, packaging, labels and creative assets
  • Supporting multi-channel marketing activity across digital, social, trade and events
  • Working closely with Sales, NPD, Supply Chain, Quality, factories and external distributors
  • Helping gather market, consumer and competitor insights to identify growth opportunities
  • Supporting trade shows and distributor activity across Europe
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

The formal role profile also includes European campaign support, packaging development, consumer insight, project management and collaboration with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Quality.

What we’re looking for
  • Around one year of experience in an Assistant Brand Manager or brand marketing role
  • Previous experience within FMCG
  • A marketing, business or related degree would be beneficial
  • Some exposure to NPD, innovation, artwork, packaging or labelling
  • A proactive, enthusiastic and hands-on approach
  • Confidence taking ownership and working independently
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
  • The agility to adapt when priorities change
  • A sociable, outgoing personality and confidence meeting new people
  • Willingness to travel across Europe, potentially at short notice

Experience within foodservice, Japanese food or European markets would be useful, but it isn’t essential. We’re more interested in finding someone with the right marketing foundation, energy and willingness to learn.

Why join us?

You’ll be joining a lean and agile marketing team where you’ll gain broad exposure and real responsibility. You’ll have the opportunity to work on international launches, innovation projects, packaging, marketing communications, digital activity and campaigns once brands are in market.

This role offers the chance to build strong cross-functional experience and develop towards a future Brand Manager position. The formal job description specifically identifies proactive learning, project ownership and future Brand Manager development as central to the opportunity.

If you’re a go-getter who enjoys variety, collaboration and seeing ideas come to life across different markets, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now to join Mizkan Euro and help bring our Japanese brands to more customers across Europe.
