The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Brand Manager for the UK marketing team to support the Senior Brand Manager on our Games portfolio. The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for supporting the development of brand and category strategies at a local level as well as delivering local marketing plans, tactics (4P’s) and assets that work effectively in the UK to gain category share in a profitable way.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the local Brand Franchise strategies in partnership with the Senior Brand Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with the other members of the Marketing Team (day to day communication) for effective brand management.
  • Media Agency management; collaborate with external partners on delivering standout campaigns with clear results and learnings.
  • Product Line selection: create recommended line and pricing architecture for each season refresh.
  • Deliver compelling product and marketing presentations to sales and external retailers and partners.
  • Contribute to joint meetings with top markets and global teams offering feedback for the UK market.
  • Partner with the global, sales, finance and planning team for day-to-day management of the UK business.
  • Manage local A&P spend management in line with brand priorities.
  • Share learnings of best practice within regional and global teams. Implement learnings from other markets where appropriate.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Marketing/Commercial experience at a similar level within Brand Marketing in Toys, FMCG or licensed consumer goods or Franchise Management experience (preferably in the children’s entertainment sector.
  • Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration preferred.
  • Can build strong and effective relationships with many stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on a wide variety of projects with aggressive deadlines and can multi-task accordingly.
  • Strategic thinking ability and able to demonstrate creativity through the proposal of new business opportunities.
  • Great tactical skills, ability to react quickly to changing situations.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
