What we’re looking for…
We’re looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to be a key driver in the growth and development of our Funkin Professional Portfolio, focusing primarily on the on-trade channel.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Support the development and execution of brand and trade plans for the Professional Portfolio in the on-trade
- Manage specific projects, including creating artwork and solutions for the customer-facing Trade Hub
- Lead the project management of new packaging initiatives
- Manage external design and social agencies to ensure timely project delivery and budget adherence.
- Drive awareness and adoption of our cocktail ingredient range within the on-trade channel.
- Contribute to strategic brand planning by providing customer and consumer insights, market analysis, and external trend perspectives.
- Analyze consumer health and market share data at key periods to support the Brand category vision.
- Develop insights and analysis to build best-in-class category partnerships with customers.
- Support the development and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, traditional media) in the on-trade to drive consumer engagement and brand affinity.
- Lead customer engagement initiatives, collaborating closely with our sales ambassadors.
- Collaborate with the social team on the new Funkin Professional Social channel.
- Champion brand values, sustainability, and act as a consumer advocate. Collaborate with Innovation and Brand teams on NPD/EPD, managing range extension NPD from concept through launch and packaging development.
- Ensure NPD minimizes waste to meet annual packaging targets.
- Support the timely monthly reporting of the marketing budget, including raising and tracking of PO’s
What you’ll bring...
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or trade marketing, supporting campaign delivery. Experience in the ontrade/ beverage industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the development and execution of marketing or brand initiatives.
- Analytical Skills: Analyse consumer insights, market trends, and sales data for strategic support.
- Project Support & Organisation: Assist in managing multiple projects and tasks.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Creativity & Brand Understanding: Contribute to brand storytelling and campaign ideation.
- Proactive & Adaptable: Learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Consumer & Market Awareness: Understand ontrade consumer behaviour and market trends.
- Budget Awareness: Understand basic budget management, assist in tracking and reporting expenditures.
