The Role

We have a new opportunity available for an ASO Manager to join a high performing Digital team within LiveScore Group. The Digital team is responsible for all digital marketing campaigns across the group, with a primary focus on User Acquisition. Reporting into the Head of SEO, we are looking for an analytical, self-motivated person who loves sport to join the team.

Across LiveScore Group, we are live with Virgin Bet and LiveScore Bet sportsbooks, and with the world's most popular scores app, LiveScore. We have plans to scale our existing ventures and to add more territories in the next 12 months.

We are looking for an ASO Manager who will take responsibility for devising, implementing and overseeing ASO strategy, and to lead and drive ASO across the group. The role will own all aspects of and be the authority for ASO efforts across all our apps globally. You must be commercially minded with the ability to quantify the ASO opportunity, measure efforts and ultimately demonstrate contribution to the bottom line.

The role requires someone with a rounded set of ASO knowledge and end-to-end delivery of ASO practices. Innovative copy writing and a flair for creative optimisation, strong understanding of App Store Connect/Play Console metrics and a keen eye for analysing large data sets and trends Key stakeholders include our Product and Development teams, and the wider digital marketing team and Senior Digital Marketing Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop best in-class ASO practises across the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store (Android) for all our Apps globally 
  • Report ASO performance to senior stakeholders and develop strategies to meet targets
  • Monitor and analyse ASO performance and trends
  • Develop improved reporting with Martech team. Use increased detail to refine targeting across different OS's and geos
  • Develop affinity between organic and paid app acquisition teams with the target of increasing efficiency and performance between the channels
  • Define ways of working with product and wider marketing teams so App Store / Play Store support business objectives (CRM)
  • Own agency relationships for ASO. Maximise agency output by providing regular feedback. Challenge impact of meta data changes and testing.
  • Be the point of contact in the business for Product & Development to make changes in the stores, any App Store / Play Store queries, app rejections, new app launches
  • Educating key stakeholders on the latest industry updates, news and algorithm changes. Actively raise the profile of ASO, taking part in the Marketing All Hands
  • Own relationship with Sensor Tower (previously Data ai) and promote use within the business. 
  • Manage prioritisation and workload of Senior ASO exec


Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience of ASO (store listing optimisation, reviews & ratings management and optimisation, AB testing, etc)
  • Understanding of App Store algorithms and how to optimise for them
  • Experience producing keyword research for App Stores, and running competitor research
  • Highly analytical with strong competencies in data analysis using Excel and Tableau dashboards, along with excellent presentation skills
  • Full understanding of App attribution and working with MMPs such as AppsFlyer
  • Experience with App Store Connect and Play Console
  • Experience of working with Product and Release teams
  • Highly effective and clear communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Focused and highly organised
  • Creative and Strategic thinker
  • Experience in e-gaming or another highly regulated industry
  • Passionate about Sport
