You will be working within the Own Brand function; the Asda Brand Planning team are responsible for the process delivering Own Brand products and packaging from concept through to launch in store.

As a Planning Manger across food and non-edible grocery, you will have a unique opportunity to deliver change in a fast paced and exciting environment.

You will have a varied role managing existing processes to maximise customer protection and drive business efficiency. In addition, you will be the key contact for escalation in helping to resolve barriers within ASDAs process ensuring that ASDA Brand projects launch on time and in-line with process measures 

You will also be responsible for the close management of Natashas Law process, liaising across all key stakeholders to ensure projects are closely managed, Natashas Law legal labelling is correct and training is up to date and communicated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Natasha’s Law Legal labelling process management, implementation, escalations and coordination of training to stakeholders.
  • Copy Planning process, team line management, process implementation, escalation support.
  • RRP ‘Retail Ready Packaging’, supplier management, escalation support, driving brand consistency.
  • Training – Own Brand Training plan for 2026 to be implemented and new requests organised.  
  • Building an effective and motivated team that can deliver and flex according to business requirement. Ensuring development through IDPs and agreed training plans

What you’ll need.

  • The ability to jump right into the role, getting to grips with the processes and safeguarding.

  • An eye for detail and solutions orientated attitude, are you able to drive consistency and support on escalations.

  • Can you communicate confidentially to stakeholders at different levels both internal and externally, to ensure everyone is adhering to process responsibilities, managing expectations and kept informed of changes.

  • Line management experience preferred.
