Asbestos Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a standout opportunity to join UL Solutions as an Asbestos Surveyor in a remote role - a role where careful investigation, professional judgement, and strong client communication directly contribute to safer buildings and better-informed decisions.
You will work on a wide range of client sites, carrying out a variety of asbestos-related inspections and producing clear, reliable survey information that clients can act on with confidence. The role suits someone who enjoys being mobile, practical, technically curious and enjoys diversity
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 and ensuring all work complies with current legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS procedures• Predominantly working in commercial and industrial buildings• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams• Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites
QUALIFICATIONS
• BOHS P402 qualification• Experience working in an asbestos surveyor role• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements• Ability to manage own workload independently• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across client sites • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills• Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work

It is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 5% of base salary.
