Job Opportunity: Artwork Project Coordinator – Europe

Location: Europe, Hybrid role.
Job Type: 2-Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Benefits

Mars is seeking a European Artwork Deployment Expert to join our Pet Nutrition Europe team. In this pivotal role, you will manage design projects to ensure excellence in artwork execution, adhering to ‘stage and gate’ processes aligned with our Global, Regional, and Local standards. You will be the custodian of the design process, driving collaboration between design agencies, marketing, and packaging teams to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional Design Activity Task Groups (ATG) from Innovation Design Brief through to supplier handoff.
  • Provide clear ATG recommendations, highlighting risks, issues, and deviations from agreed frameworks.
  • Brief Packaging Compliance teams on Legal Text Specifications.
  • Oversee rollout and compilation of Artwork GPC(s).
  • Coordinate with markets for Master Pack Copy translation.
  • Approve EAN Codes, Pack Codes, Language Grouping, and Orders at the approval stage.
  • Ensure Request for Transfer (RFT) design inputs and outputs are accurate and complete.
  • Conduct Post Design Project Reviews to capture and communicate learnings.

About You

  • BA/BSc University Degree (or equivalent).
  • Expertise in Project and Process Management, including facilitation skills – desirable.
  • Functional experience preferred in Marketing, Packaging, or Graphics – desirable.
  • The ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Additional European languages are a plus.
  • High level of proactiveness and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
