tmp helps B2B marketing leaders create coherence in a chaotic world. We’re looking for obsessively curious people to join us.

You'll join 300 B2B experts across strategy, data, creative, media, client services, Sales activation, and shared services. Different skills brought together in integrated teams, centred around our clients: the world’s most impactful tech companies.

So, if you’re interested in what makes the world work, if you find solving complex problems fun, and you love making the answers as simple as possible, then we’d love to hear from you.

What we are looking for

We have serious ambitions for our creative work. We’re looking for an Art Director who shares them.

Someone who wants to make work people wish they’d made.

We want a thinker with a designer’s eye. Someone with taste, curiosity and an unreasonable level of ambition for the work.

Someone who understands emotion and knows how to use creativity to make people feel something.

Working as one half of a conceptual creative team, you’ll have real creative ownership of one of our biggest global clients — setting the visual direction, steering the work and constantly looking for opportunities to make it better.

And, when exciting creative opportunities land elsewhere around the Agency, we want you there too.

You won’t be buried in production, but you’ll know your craft well enough to direct it — and be dangerous on the tools when you need to be.

Your portfolio matters more to us than a checklist of experience.

Show us ideas.

Show us beautiful things.

Better still, show us both.

What you will do

Turn strategy into an idea, not just a visual response

Get in early on briefs and help find the thought everything else hangs from

Set and steer the visual direction of a major global account

Protect the idea as it travels — guide the work through the studio

Build distinctive visual worlds around campaigns, brands and ideas

Present creative thinking to clients and bring them with you

Direct designers and makers — and lead through the tools when showing is better than telling

Requirements

Who you are

You see the brief as a starting point, not a set of instructions

You think in ideas as naturally as you think in images

You understand that emotion is a creative tool, not just an outcome

You look beyond advertising for inspiration

You have taste, but you’re curious enough to challenge it

You care about craft, but never at the expense of the idea

You’re ambitious for the work, whoever’s name is on it

What you will need

4+ years’ experience in a design-led creative role.

Agency experience, B2B or B2C.

A portfolio that shows ideas as well as execution

Strong design craft and art direction

*We are open to meeting established creative partnerships.

Benefits

What we offer in return

  • Generous holiday allowance (Plentiful PTO)
  • Shutdown between Christmas and New Year
  • Private healthcare and dental insurance
  • Group income protection
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme
  • Access to well-being coaching or counselling sessions once a week
  • Financial health support
  • Parental leave - 12 Weeks Full Pay for Primary Carers and an additional 50% pay for 12 more weeks.
  • Use our portal to access discounts and cashback at plenty of retailers. You can also sign up for our cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Sustainable Future Giving. We want to help create a positive impact on our planet by donating to plant trees, tacking our impact, and helping to reduce emissions.

A note on applying

Not sure you tick every box? Apply anyway. Research shows some people hold back unless they meet 100% of the requirements. We do not want that to be you.

At tmp, we hire for potential, mindset, and character as much as experience. If you are excited about the role but your background is not a perfect match, we would still love to hear from you. You might be exactly what we are looking for, either for this role or another.

We are committed to building a diverse team because diversity fuels creativity and better results for everyone. We encourage applications from all backgrounds. If you need any accommodations during the process, just let us know.

As an employee of tmp, we expect you to remain up to date with information security training and policies, and the company policies set out in your contract. For management roles, this includes ensuring members of your team undertake relevant training and adhere to company policies.

Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
