ARIEL is our unique and specialist adjusting arm of Crawford & Company, providing Agricultural, Rural Industries and Estates' Losses claims management expertise to complement our global portfolio of specialty and traditional claims management services. Our opportunity is a first notification of loss (FNOL) coordinator to support our busy network of claims technicians and adjusters

Responsibilities

You’ll receive and action new claims including accurate data input, liaison with colleagues and customers to capture and provide key information.  You’ll also make outbound calls to policyholders, Agents, Insurers and colleagues to ascertain the nature of each claim, extent of loss, if emergency assistance is required and to book appointments.

This is a great opportunity to kickstart your career if you’re looking to learn new skills, such as how the insurance claims process works,  the type of information required such as logging correct information and escalating urgent matters through to identifying high risk indicators and potential fraud.

It’s important that you’ll always have a professional focus and have the ability to put yourself in the policy holders’ shoes, as well as being the first point of contact for Crawford and our brand.

Qualifications

We’re on the search for talent: Good customer service skills, empathy when needed and attention to detail when requesting and gathering information.  You’ll ideally be from a similar background, however candidates will good solid customer service or coordinator backgrounds are welcome to apply.  Additionally, you’ll will have/will be:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to deal with sensitive information on occasions
  • Gather information from the policy holder in a professional and courteous way
  • A Customer Service champion, always providing a first class service
