A newly created exciting opportunity to join our Investment Application Support Team as a Change Lead. This is a permanent opportunity based in our London office (hybrid working).

The role

As the Change Lead within the Investments Application Support team, you will play a pivotal role in driving and coordinating change initiatives across a range of projects, IT4IT programmes, and small-to-medium enhancements delivered through TAP (Technology Assurance Process) . Your primary focus will be on safeguarding and enhancing the stability of our day-to-day operations (BAU), ensuring seamless continuity as we evolve our systems and processes.
 

Acting as a vital link between Investments Application Support, Change, Delivery, and the Pensions Investment Management (PIM) Business, you will oversee the prioritisation, governance, and safe delivery of all change activities. Your work will ensure that changes are implemented efficiently, with clear operational accountability at every stage.
 

In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating service quality, resilience, and automation. Your efforts will empower the Pensions Investment Management Business to operate securely and effectively, ultimately supporting the best outcomes for our members.

The person

We are seeking an accomplished change professional to join our Investments Application Support team, focusing on the safe and effective delivery of change across our investment technology landscape. You will thrive in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, bringing with you a proven track record of leading change initiatives within application support and data domains, particularly in investment or financial services settings.

You will combine a robust technical background with hands-on change management expertise, demonstrating confidence with technologies such as SQL Server, Windows Server, Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with scripting languages including PowerShell and Python will set you apart, as will experience working with Investment Order Management and Data Platforms and interaction with Market Data providers.

The ideal candidate will be energised by the prospect of shaping and optimising how we deliver change, ensuring seamless system evolution without compromising day-to-day operational stability. Your technical insight, combined with a practical and collaborative approach, will empower you to drive enhancements that support the Pensions Investment Management business and deliver tangible value for our members.

You will have the ability to visualise, articulate and solve complex problems and concepts applying logical thinking.
