The roleThis role is accountable for supporting the investment business and related functions by providing stable applications and making sure investment data is reliable, timely and of excellent quality enabling the investment business to perform their roles to secure members futures. The remaining time will be spent supporting the rest of the investment business processes, applications and change projects.
The personWe are looking for someone with good technical ability, who has previous experience of working in investment management as part of a rapidly changing environment. The successful candidate will have production support experience to meet the varied requirements of our Investment Business. As an ASA, you will encourage the team to build trusted relationships with the business and external partners. You will look to proactively identify support trends and problematic processes and provide solutions to reduce support where possible. Experience of Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Python, supporting APIs and PowerShell would be a distinct advantage. Additionally, any knowledge of Windows Server, SFTP and supporting Microsoft Azure workloads would be useful.

The individual will be expected to act exemplary towards colleagues, expressing a positive can-do attitude and seeking to achieve exceptional standards in service delivery. As well as be an effective communicator, who is keen to resolve application and technical problems with the ability to balance priorities and work to deadlines. This role will suit someone who looks to take a collaborate approach to tasks to ensure best solutions and knowledge sharing.
