We are seeking a skilled and passionate C#/.NET Developer to join our Backend team. You’ll collaborate closely with our Frontend (React), QAandDevOps engineers, and Product team to build and maintain high-quality products. While based in our London office (hybrid working), you’ll engage with colleagues in the US and the Dominican Republic, contributing to a global effort. 


Our services are entirely cloud-based, primarily hosted in Microsoft Azure, with a goal to move even more of our services to the host. 


We are a growing team, where contributions have a significant impact. You’ll work with the latest technology and transforming existing applications to run on newer stacks.

You Will:

  • Work on varied tasks ranging from daily Sprint activities, independent projects and continuous improvements to our backend stack. 
  • Design, build and maintain a wide range of Web Applications and Serverless Functions, working with data from SQL Server, NoSQL (Cosmos) and external APIs. 
  • Collaborate on the architectural direction of our products. 
  • Take part in sessions planning our roadmap and reviewing our processes to ensure that everyone has a voice in the way we work. 

You Have:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in C#/.NET development 
  • Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • A proven track record of developing performant, testable and scalable commercial web applications
  • Experience of working with SQL databases (ideally SQL Server) including SQL scripting, efficient database design and working with ORMs. 
  • A good understanding of Distributed/Cloud Based Systems (e.g.Serverless Functions, Queue/Event driven architectures) ideally Microsoft Azure 
  • Experience working with NoSQL data stores (Cosmos)
  • Experience with Unit testing (e.g XUnit/NUnit/Moq) 
  • Great problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with working in a cross functional team, delivering on a shared goal 
  • Working collaboratively, including reviewing the code of others. 
  • Experience modernising applications from older stacks. 
  • Experience with Financial Services Industries a plus
