Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing/product/business or an equivalent field.
  • Experience related to product management.
  • Communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple project/products simultaneously are required. 
  • Must be able to work independently and in team settings. 
  • Advanced English and Portuguese levels.

Impact You'll Make:

This position is responsible for influencing Fraud/ID specific product strategies and the successful execution thereof across the portfolio.  Responsible for assessment of market conditions and setting of appropriate product strategies related to solution positioning; value propositions; design; pricing; distribution strategy; promotions and reporting with the objective of meeting the stated portfolio revenue and EBIT targets. This position will lead efforts to initiate research and analysis, develop and launch product line extensions and enhancements which will include leading product ideation sessions as well as championing the existing product suite.  Provides feedback, guidance and input to CoE product resources and will lead efforts to initiate research and analysis, develop and launch product line extensions and enhancements which may be required.

You will serve as an ambassador for Fraud/ID by adopting and adapting products and go-to-market strategies to better enable and connect Sales to drive product adoption and utilization to deliver long-term results.

The team’s focus

Our dedicated Product team optimizes performance and minimizes risk for our clients by providing solutions that drive action.  Our integrated team own and manage products across Fraud/ID that help organizations to make timely and informed decisions.  We support sales pursuits and solution development.

How you will contribute:

Portfolio Management

  • Proactively compiles strategy recommendations to management.
  • Initiate industry and product research, obtain customer feedback on product efficacy, performance, enhancements etc. and to probe needs and identify opportunities through Voice of Customer exercises. Evaluates research results, generates insights and recommends options to explore new solutions/enhancements to management.
  • Identifies and evaluates the viability of new and existing products by monitoring ROI of products.
  • Monitors performance of product and identifies growth opportunities and provides recommendations to Sales (measured through revenue growth; increased volumes, increased number of clients; usage).
  • Support sales, create publicity and promotion, provide pricing recommendations and guidelines, provide sufficient collateral to ensure customers understand the value of TransUnion.
  • Develop comprehensive sales training plans to increase awareness of Fraud/ID solutions sets with our Sales teams and to ensure sales team effectiveness.
  • Review complex business processes to identify areas or improvement specific to product portfolio.
  • Adapts and/or develops Go-To-Market plans. GTM plans includes responsibility for, but not limited to production of GTM strategy deck, Strategy memo, sales enablement content (for inclusion in items such as customer pitch deck, asset sheet and quick reference guide), launch webinar content and production of sales training material
  • Manages product launch activities related to product line extensions and enhancements consistent with product portfolio strategies.  Develops product launch plan and develops sales tools including internal training materials, presentations, features and benefits.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure product is effectively launched.
  • Performs user acceptance testing as needed and interfaces with IT if and when defects are identified.
  • Supports sales in field initiatives in line with product strategies.
  • Speedy query resolution and escalation to management where appropriate.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Proactive and regular engagement with Sales, GT, Data & Analytics and Solution consultants
  • Uses multiple communication formats to keep stakeholders up to date on product initiatives
  • Liaises with shared services to ensure appropriate support for product portfolio
  • Leverages the product development team and shared services to drive improvement
  • Management of 3rd party relationships where required.

Reporting

  • Monitors performance of products in portfolio
  • Ensures the identification of growth opportunities as well as risks and provides recommendations/ takes action.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
