What do we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The role:

As an Analytics Engineering Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team, working closely with various business units to translate complex business requirements into actionable data solutions. You will play a critical role in communicating analytics insights clearly and with impact, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Managers, and Engineering teams will be essential to align analytics solutions seamlessly with business objectives and technical capabilities.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of analytics engineers in order to help Paddle build high quality, scalable data models.

  • Partner with business units in order to help understanding their needs and turning these into actionable work items, to prioritise work, to align definitions and to set up demos and training sessions

  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring the accuracy, availability, and reliability of data using our data stack (Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran).

  • Champion best practices in analytics engineering, data modeling, and data governance within the team.

  • Drive the continuous improvement of data workflows, automation, and tooling to enhance the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Collaborate closely with data platform and analytics teams to build cohesive solutions.

  • Promote a data-driven culture across the company, supporting stakeholders in leveraging analytics to make informed decisions.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a passion for developing people and bring at least 1 year of management experience with several direct reports.

  • Have strong expertise with modern analytics engineering stack, including DBT, Snowflake, Fivetran, and similar tools.

  • Have advanced SQL skills and experience designing and implementing scalable data models.

  • Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

  • Have strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing complex data challenges.

  • Are familiar with data governance practices, data cataloging and data quality

  • Are someone that enjoys getting into the details and understanding business processes and commercial implications

  • Are proactive and enjoy taking ownership, but self-aware and always open to improving and pushing on how you can get better.

We’re more interested in your craft, curiosity, passion for learning and what you’ll add to our culture. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t match every part of the job ad, especially if you’re part of an underrepresented group.
Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to better support you through the application process and in the workplace. We will do everything we can to support any accommodations needed. We’re committed to building a diverse team where everyone feels safe to be their authentic self. Let’s grow together.

What you need to know about the London Tech Scene

Boasting one of the most recognized fintech ecosystems in Europe, attracting billions in investments each year, London's success has made it a go-to destination for startups looking to make their mark. Top U.K. companies like Hoptin, Moneybox and Marshmallow have already made the city their base — yet fintech is just the beginning. From healthtech to renewable energy to cybersecurity and beyond, the city's startups are breaking new ground across a range of industries.
