We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The Role

If you love to develop cutting-edge automated solutions to tough business problems and craft game-changing insights with data that change how an organisation operates, this is a role for you.

At Dojo, the data function is a fascinating space, where you can really make an impact from day 1. You will have the opportunity to play an important role in its development. We want you to bring your expertise with technology and experience in solving commercial problems into an environment where you’ll be working alongside other experts in both domains to scale our processes and make smarter decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Help shape our data stack by leveraging best-in-class tools and sources.
  • Build and maintain scalable data models in dbt to power dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product managers to develop robust data products.
  • Translate business needs into data solutions that improve decision-making across departments.
  • Develop and maintain key KPIs and reporting tools using platforms like Looker and BigQuery.
  • Support implementation of event tracking to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Contribute to a culture of data excellence through strong documentation and knowledge sharing.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong SQL skills and experience building data models in dbt.
  • Familiarity with BI tools like Looker or similar.
  • Previous experience working with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake.
  • Ability to work across teams and clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A keen eye for detail, high standards for data quality, and a curiosity-driven mindset.
  • Experience working with large datasets and integrating multiple data sources.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to event tracking tools like Segment or Rudderstack.
  • Experience with Python or JavaScript for light scripting.
  • Familiarity with GCP or other cloud platforms.

If you’re passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?

If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.

If the following speak to you, let’s talk:

  • You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
  • You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
  • You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
