Analytics Engineer

We are looking for talented Analytics Engineers to join our Data Mission, where you’ll transform data into valuable insights that enhance user experiences and empower our analyst community. Using a cutting-edge tech stack, including dbt and Databricks, you’ll build powerful pipelines that drive meaningful impact.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborating with teams across our business to design and build data products that directly support our 25 million users to make more empowered financial decisions
  • Using your data expertise to empower our analysts and business users to get the most from our data
  • As part of an engineering team, working with best practices to build high quality, reliable data pipelines
  • Showing genuine curiosity about the many ways in which our data is used to impact our business and our users
  • Taking a creative approach to solving business problems and automating day-to-day processes
  • Communicating about our datasets and capabilities to our less technical users and empowering them to self-serve insights and tools


Skills we'd love you to have

  • You are a power user of SQL, and are comfortable using it to prepare and transform large datasets
  • You have 1-2 years experience of working with data in a business context
  • You have experience with cloud based data warehouses (e.g. Databricks)
  • You can optimise your queries and pipelines for efficiency and reliability
  • As a bonus, you have experience with DBT, Data Orchestration tools (eg. Airflow) and Visualisation tools (eg. Tableau)
  • You love to think about creative solutions to problems, and have experience with automating processes or data pipelines
  • You have strong communication skills, and the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • You write clear and effective documentation that considers the needs of its audience.

Our Hybrid Model

  • Levels 1-5: Minimum 2 days per week in-office
  • Level 6 and above: Minimum 3 days per week in-office
