Role Summary and Impact

The Booking.com account is seeking an Analytics leader for its Global Solutions Unit. This role is a critical leadership role responsible for driving data-driven decision-making within the Global Solutions team. This individual will be the subject matter expert on campaign analytics, ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our data infrastructure, and leading the post-campaign analysis workstream. They will collaborate closely with planning, technology, and local market teams to translate data into actionable insights that optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for leveraging data to achieve business objectives.

Data Infrastructure & Management:

  • Ensure the campaign data stack through Rubik is properly configured and maintained, specifically with regard to Project Rubik, to ensure seamless data flow and accessibility for local markets.
  • Collaborate with the Tooling and Technology Director to identify, evaluate, and implement new tools and technologies that enhance our analytical capabilities and bring insights to life.
  • Maintain and optimize existing dashboards to ensure they provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and implement solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures.

Campaign Analysis & Reporting:

  • Lead the post-campaign analysis workstream, developing comprehensive reports that provide insights into campaign performance, ROI, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize ROI insights from planning tools to inform campaign strategy and optimize budget allocation.
  • Develop and implement standardized reporting templates and dashboards for local market teams.
  • Identify trends and patterns in campaign data to provide proactive recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Collaboration & Training:

  • Work closely with planning teams to integrate data-driven insights into campaign strategy and execution.
  • Partner with local market teams to understand their specific data needs and provide tailored support.
  • Prepare and test the use of new analytical tools with the entire team, including planning and local market teams, to ensure adoption and effective utilization.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the data literacy of the Global Solutions team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on campaign analytics, providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a data analytics roadmap for the Global Solutions team, aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics and campaign measurement.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data to improve campaign performance and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of new analytical methodologies and techniques.
  • Champion a data-driven culture within the Global Solutions team.
