ESBO (European Service Business Organisation) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and determining opportunities within the digital media and advertising industry with the goal of creating scalable services and businesses on top of the footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The EU advertising team is working to add new value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into TV viewership in the shifting media landscape!
You will be working with the largest TV dataset in the world. In this role you will need to be skilled at understanding collaborator needs, and working with vast datasets to create simple and intuitive insights that translate complex problems into significant action.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Crafting engaging stories from insights & data to support client narratives in partnership with sales and marketing

  • Delivering marketing and investment efficiency support to the largest global brands

  • Communicating and collaborating directly with external and internal collaborators

  • Developing analytical problem-solving approaches using advanced analytical techniques combined with traditional business analysis methods to deliver insights and inform recommendations

  • Automating value activities

  • Generating data visualizations to support our business operations

  • Coordinating with supporting functions across the organisation, including finance, the central Analytics & Insights team, and other business units, as required to drive team goals

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in media insights, platform analysis, media measurement and/or marketing science roles

  • Familiarity with CTV, digital and/or TV media

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with extensive experience of working with clients and senior business professionals

  • The ability to explain complex issues and problems in simplified terms that are easily understandable to non-technical staff

  • Experience using statistical techniques to draw insights from data

  • Degree or equivalent experience in statistics based science or social science e.g Psychology, Economics. Business with an emphasis on statistics, data analysis or market research also considered.

  • Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, BigQuery, etc.), automation techniques (e.g., Javascript, Python, etc.) and statistical principles (e.g., significance, regression, etc.)

  • You should have a passion for solving problems, identifying solutions, leading projects, and working in cross-functional teams.
