About the Role:

Role Summary

As an Analyst in the Trade Processing Commercial Team, you will support the strategic initiatives and commercial success of the Trade Processing division. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to support revenue generation, cost rationalisation, and strategic decision-making. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, strategic projects, and commercial initiatives within the fintech and financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Modelling: Assist in financial modelling and analysis to support strategic decision-making, revenue forecasting, and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitive positioning, and industry developments to identify business opportunities and inform commercial strategy.
  • Strategic Project Support: Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic initiatives within the Trade Processing division, collaborating with internal teams such as technology, operations, and finance.
  • Partnership Support: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential strategic partnerships, working with senior stakeholders to develop relationships and explore collaboration opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and product teams to align commercial initiatives with broader organisational objectives.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that provide insights into key commercial metrics and business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in financial markets, fintech, and post-trade processing.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at different levels.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools; knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Recent graduate or up to 2 years’ experience in a financial services, fintech, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of financial markets and trading lifecycle is desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis, financial modelling, or market research is advantageous.

Special Job Requirements

  • Some travel may be required for industry events, client meetings, and team engagements.
  • Professional business hours, with flexibility as needed for project deadlines and stakeholder meetings.
