Cost Optimisation / Data Analysis / Collaboration

Step into an exciting Analyst role where you'll shape cost strategies, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive impactful business decisions!

As an Analyst, you will analyse & manipulate large data sets to drive cost optimisation and informed decision-making within the logistics network. Engaging with a broad set of cross-functional partners, you will identify cost-saving opportunities, support cost roadmap development, and contribute to strategic business decisions. 

If you have a strong analytical mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, you will thrive in this role!

What You’ll Do:

  • Manipulate large data sets to increase understanding of network cost decisions and think outside of the box to identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross functional stakeholders (procurement, performance, planning, operations and finance teams), clearly presenting information and business insights in a digestible format for all levels; enabling considered and validated business decisions outcomes.  
  • Align with partnering teams; ensuring changes are understood, executed & results highlighted in the Profit & Loss (P&L).
  • Support the team in defining and driving the cost roadmap and strategy.

What You Will Have:

  • Proven experience within an analytically biased role; any supply chain, finance, ecommerce knowledge would be a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree within analytical bias such as Maths, Economics, Finance, Science, Engineering, and/ or qualified by experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business decisions.
  • To display a minimum basic level of SQL/ Google BigQuery understanding.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or PowerBI is advantageous.
  • Good communication skills, someone who can collaborate with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive within an agile, fast paced environment, remaining calm, composed and focused on priorities while meeting project deadlines.
  • Proficiency with IT systems and user knowledge for navigating multiple applications simultaneously (including Excel and Google Sheets).
  • A highly inquisitive mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and adaptation.
