Analyst, Supplier Management and Procurement, Private Markets

This is a great job for someone with previous procurement or supplier management experience to join the Private Markets team at Aviva Investors and support our managed supplier programme.

A bit about the job:

The role exists as part of the Private Markets Services team to deliver specific elements of the Private Markets Managed Supplier programme while also enabling continuous improvement. To achieve this, it will work alongside the Private Markets Supplier Managers, Supplier Oversight and Risk & Governance teams. The role will also provide business continuity for the Document Execution process to cover for any periods of absence.  You will work with Private Markets Services and Supplier Oversight teams to identify and implement initiatives to improve our supplier management programme. You will be required to identify relevant data sets and perform analysis on supplier portfolio eg number, type and spend, deliver some administrative elements of the programme and make recommendations for potential improvements to Head of Private Markets Services.    .

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • An understanding of procurement and supplier management processes

  • Able to conduct simple analysis and make recommendations based on it

  • Able to identify operational risk and propose solutions 

  • Competent team player and communicator to work with others to achieve required outcomes

  • Proficient at using standard Microsoft tools and able to operate other systems

  • Self starter / organised
