What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review, and verify invoices and check requests
  • Review payments to ensure correct coding, authorization, and has sufficient documentation
  • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
  • Sort, code, and match invoices with PO's
  • Enter and upload invoices into the system as needed.
  • Investigate discrepancies by coordinating with internal business partners.
  • Prepare payment disbursements and maintain vendors files
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquires
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Maintain accurate historical records
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Prepare and perform check runs
  • Prepare analysis of accounts and monthly reports
  • Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
