About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of just over 600 people

  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK

  • Profitable since 2017

  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs

  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Join us if you want to
  1. Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1

  2. Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo

  3. Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to work at the operational heart of a profitable unicorn. You'll support the CEO Office with strategic projects, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination while getting direct exposure to how executive decisions are made. This is an excellent role for someone early in their career who wants to see how successful companies operate and develop skills across strategy, analysis, and operations.

You'll work directly with Rob (Associate, CEO Office) and Livia (Chief of Staff) across a broad remit touching every part of the business.

What you'll work on

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Support quarterly planning (OKRs) and strategy reviews by gathering inputs, tracking progress, and identifying blockers

  • Contribute to board materials and investor presentations through data analysis, first drafts, and quality control

  • Execute on company-wide strategic projects under guidance - recent examples include building KPI dashboards, researching geographic expansion, and coordinating strategy offsite's.

Data-Driven Analysis

  • Deep-dive into company metrics using SQL, Python, and data tools to inform strategic decisions

  • Build dashboards and reporting systems that give leadership visibility into what matters

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work with department heads across all our offices on strategic initiatives

  • Keep projects moving and hold senior stakeholders accountable to commitments

  • Coordinate logistics for key meetings and events (with support from our office manager)

AI-Native Approach

  • Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, write SQL/Python code, and unlock insights faster

  • Help drive AI adoption across the company through training and best practices

  • Apply an AI-native mindset to make things more efficient

People & Culture

  • Grab coffee with new starters to get a sense of how teams are working and build relationships across the company

  • Help maintain Lendable's exceptional culture as we scale

  • This is a highly cross-functional role where you'll operate with all of our departments across all of our global offices.

What we're looking for

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single qualification listed. We value diverse backgrounds and believe skills can be developed on the job. If you’re passionate about our mission and eager to learn, we want to hear from you

  • Outstanding communication skills - you can write a crisp board memo and present complex ideas simply

  • Exceptional attention to detail - you spot the inconsistency others miss

  • Confidence and interpersonal ease - you're comfortable introducing yourself to anyone in the company, from new grads to senior leadership, and building genuine relationships across all levels

  • AI-native approach - you use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT) to accelerate your analysis, write Python/SQL code, and work more efficiently. You're excited about AI's potential but understand it's a tool, not the focus

  • Self-starter with a "figure it out" mentality - you don't need hand-holding

  • Analytical rigor - comfortable manipulating data and drawing insights (SQL/Python experience helpful, but strong AI coding skills are sufficient)

  • Discretion and integrity - you'll handle confidential information regularly

  • Deep curiosity about how businesses actually work

  • Genuine interest in people and team dynamics

  • Low ego, high output collaborative style

  • Startup mentality - you want to build, not just operate

  • Comfort with ambiguity and context-switching between diverse projects

Why this role?

This isn't a typical analyst position. You'll get:

  • Strategic exposure - Direct visibility into how a profitable unicorn makes decisions, from product strategy to market expansion

  • Exceptional people - Work daily with brilliant operators, the Chief of Staff, and occasionally the CEO

  • Broad remit - Touch every part of the business, from AI implementation to board materials to people initiatives

  • Real ownership - Your analysis and recommendations directly influence company direction

  • If you want to understand how successful companies actually operate at the highest level - and shape that operation yourself - this is the role.

Life at Lendable
  • The opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies.

  • Best-in-class compensation, including equity.

  • You can work from home every Monday and Friday if you wish - on the other days, those based in the UK come together IRL at our Shoreditch office in London to be together, build and exchange ideas.

  • Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to whip up breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks in the office every Tuesday-Thursday.

  • We care for our Lendies’ well-being both physically and mentally, so we offer coverage when it comes to private health insurance

  • We're an equal-opportunity employer and are looking to make Lendable the most inclusive and open workspace in London
