The Graduate Hardware Engineer role involves training in FPGA development, pair programming, and working on hardware changes under mentorship, while engaging in workshops and social activities.
Your IMC Journey as a Graduate Hardware Engineer
As a Graduate Hardware Engineer at IMC, you'll begin your career with a comprehensive five-week Global Trainee Programme led by our experienced engineers and traders, together with fellow graduates from our offices in Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific.
After completing the programme, you'll continue your professional development in yourlocal office, working closely with your mentor, an experienced IMC engineer, to apply what you've learned to real-world, high-impact projects.
Your work will go far beyond coding, you'll gain a deep understanding of IMC's field-programmable gate array (FPGA) development process, learn how technology drives our unique trading strategies, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in both engineering and trading.
Your Core Responsibilities
If you have previously applied for this position and were not selected, you are welcome to reapply in the next recruitment cycle starting September 2026 after further developing your skills.
Due to U.S. consulate restrictions, candidates from certain nations (including Russia, Belarus, and Iran) are required to apply for their visa in a designated third country or to prove strong ties with a country of residency. Since the global traineeship begins shortly after employment starts, there is not enough time to establish the ties with the Netherlands which is needed for approval. As a result, we are unable to proceed with your candidacy for the graduate traineeship programme at this time. We greatly appreciate your understanding and hope to consider you for future opportunities.
If you are a dual passport holder of another nationality, you remain welcome to apply and should inform our campus recruitment team of your situation: [email protected].
