It is a $1BN+ technology business that has significant growth aspirations over the next five years. Being a part of BlackRock means being a part of a community of smart, results-oriented people who are pursuing some of the world’s most sophisticated financial challenges. And our founder-led culture has maintained its results-oriented feel — we work hard, we work as a team, and we work with purpose. Aladdin® is the investment management platform that provides asset managers, asset owners and asset servicers sophisticated risk analytics with comprehensive portfolio management, trading, and operations tools on a single platform to power informed decision-making, effective risk management, efficient trading and operational scale. Being a member of Aladdin Product means working with the best in the industry to build innovative products that shape financial markets.

This role on the Aladdin Partnerships team within Aladdin Product will be focused on building the Aladdin Trader business, a series of partnerships with brokers and trading platforms to modernize credit trading for mutual Aladdin clients. As a Vice President and key member of the Aladdin Trader team, you will be responsible for sourcing and leading sales opportunities, managing existing partner relationships, and partnering with product, marketing, and client teams to drive growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and close new business opportunities: Identify, pursue, and execute strategic sales opportunities with ecosystem partners to drive adoption of Aladdin Trader capabilities.
  • Manage and grow partner relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key broker and platform partners, ensuring alignment on shared goals, commercial opportunities, and execution priorities.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market strategy: Work with product, marketing, and client teams to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Aladdin Trader's growth objectives.
  • Engage the client community: Be a subject matter expert to drive effective usage and adoption for the suite of trading capabilities
  • Drive commercial outcomes: Own revenue and growth targets, manage deal pipelines, and deliver forecasts to senior leadership with precision and accountability.
  • Inform product roadmap: Provide feedback from clients and partners to help prioritize product features and enhancements that meet evolving market needs.
  • Develop sales materials: Partner with internal teams to create compelling pitch materials, proposals, and value propositions tailored to client segments and trading workflows.
  • Liaise between the trading platform team and executive leadership across the firm, including the global heads of trading by communicating key updates and insights

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, sales, relationship management, business development, or partnerships within financial technology or capital markets, ideally with a focus on trading workflows.
  • Proven track record of deal execution, managing complex sales cycles, and achieving or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Deep understanding of buy-side trading workflows, market structure, and electronic trading trends, particularly in credit or fixed income markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions to senior stakeholders at asset managers, hedge funds, and broker-dealers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally, with experience managing strategic accounts and navigating matrixed organizations.
  • Commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify new opportunities, size markets, and shape partnership models.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally with product, legal, compliance, and marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with trading platforms, OMS/EMS systems, and the broader trading technology ecosystem; prior experience with Aladdin is a plus.
  • High degree of initiative and ownership, with a focus on results, client impact, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with query languages (SQL) and data management software such as Snowflake and PowerBI is a plus.
