POSITION DESCRIPTION
As an AI Engineer, Technical Lead you will play a key role in defining and building out Sayari’s AI-enhanced products capabilities. We have ideas and opportunities across our product line for agentic AI . This role will research and prototype capabilities with successful innovations moving to productization. You will work closely with engineering teams in that productization. A key aspect of this role is to stay current and to have sufficient resources for innovation. At Sayari, you will have both. With a customer-centric mindset, you will interact directly with senior leaders, engineers on other teams, designers, and product management to help drive use of Gen AI in our solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Proof of Concept (POC) Development: Develop POCs to validate and highlight the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed AI solutions. Collaborate with development teams to implement and iterate on POCs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and expectations.
- Solution Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the implementation and deployment of AI solutions, working closely with development teams to ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and performance requirements. Provide technical guidance and support during the implementation phase.
- Solution Optimization and Performance: Continuously monitor, Control model drift, and optimize the performance of AI solutions, including foundational models and large language models. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and speed through fine-tuning, algorithmic improvements, or infrastructure optimization.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 1+ years experience with Generative AI models and techniques, such as LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, guardrails, distillation, and agent frameworks.
- Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain
- 4+ years in python and JVM programming language (e.g. Scala, other)
- 4+ years in persistence technologies: SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Elastic, BigQuery, Graph
- 2+ years in ETL pipeline technologies: Airflow, Spark
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience driving cutting-edge research into real world impact.
- Strong technical communicator who can convey complex topics to different audiences.
- B.S. in Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
