Core is a Microsoft Cloud Managed Service Partner, specialising in Microsoft 365 technology for people and businesses who want to realise modern workplace technology solutions to drive their business forward. We specialise in providing a wide range of services, solutions and software to optimise our clients’ Microsoft investments.

Job description:
As part of our next phase of growth, we are building a dedicated AI capability, focused on Microsoft Copilot. We are looking for an AI Solutions Specialist to lead customer transformation using Microsoft AI technologies.
In this role you will design and deliver Microsoft AI solutions that create real business change, running AI discovery workshops, representing us at events, webinars and social platforms, building demos and proof-of-values sessions, and guiding organisations through AI-driven transformation.
You will be the bridge between business needs and Microsoft’s AI capabilities - Copilot, M365 AI, Azure AI, automation and the wider Microsoft ecosystem.
This is a highly customer-facing, hybrid role combining pre-sales consultancy, solution design, AI evangelism and advisory work, ideal for someone who is passionate, visible and highly engaged with the future of AI.

We offer flexible and remote working options, along with travel required to client sites, events and company offices as necessary.
The AI Solutions Specialist will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

To apply for this role, candidates are asked to provide a 60-second video introduction which is mandatory. Please include the link to your video in the “Website, Blog or Portfolio” field when submitting your application.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead AI discovery workshops, challenge customer thinking, shape business outcomes.
  • Build tailored demos, proof-of-value engagements and solution concepts.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft on roadmap alignment, programmes and go-to-market.
  • Produce tenders, proposals, SoWs, cost models and licensing guidance.
  • Build adoption pathways, governance models and business change guidance.
  • Deliver paid consulting engagements - training, advisory and implementation planning.
  • Translate business challenges into AI-powered outcomes and ROI.
  • Evangelise Microsoft AI at events, webinars, customer showcases and online.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft AI stack (Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI).
  • Experience in pre-sales, consultancy, solutioning or architecture.
  • Experience delivering workshops, demos and proof-of-value engagements for wider audience.
  • Comfort presenting on stage, on camera and in high-stakes customer sessions.
  • Ability to challenge customer assumptions respectfully but assertively.

Success Measures:

  • Recognised thought leader in Microsoft AI technologies.
  • Drives pipeline and customer demand through education and evangelism.
  • Delivers measurable business outcomes for customers.
  • Shapes Core’s AI service offerings and market position.

This is a perfect role for you if you are:

  • Passionate and genuinely excited about AI and its real-world impact.
  • Curious, proactive and driven by innovation.
  • Confident presenting on stage, on camera and in high-profile customer settings.
  • Comfortable being visible, building a personal brand and representing the business publicly.
  • Energetic, engaging and credible with technical and non-technical audiences alike.

When this role might not be the best fit:

This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role that requires energy and a commercial mindset. It's not a role for everyone - and that's perfectly okay, because we all have different strengths and ways of working.
It will not be a suitable for candidates who:

  • are shy, introverted, prefer to work behind the scenes or are uncomfortable presenting publicly or on camera.
  • have "tech only" mindset and focus solely on technology without considering business outcomes or value.
  • don't actively follow Microsoft AI developments and roadmap updates.
  • prefer a quiet, low-engagement environment rather than a dynamic, customer-facing role.

We offer:

  • Work from home contract but alternatively, you can also work from our offices (London, Manchester, or Edinburgh).
  • Bonuses based on performance.
  • Personal development opportunities and Microsoft-aligned training.
  • Appropriate, modern technology to support the fulfilment of your role.
  • Significant focus on Learning + Development. training courses, seminars, and social events in London.
  • Supportive, ambitious and entrepreneurial culture where you'll have the freedom to drive ideas, take ownership and make a real impact.
  • Two paid leave days per year to volunteer for causes that resonate with Core's values (charitable efforts, environmental initiatives, and supporting the next generation in tech).
  • Private healthcare.
  • Death in service life insurance for five times an employee's annual salary.
