As an AI Product Owner, you will define, shape, and deliver AI capabilities across our product suite, including both on‑prem and SaaS offerings. You will serve as the bridge between clients and the AI engineering/Dev teams—translating genuine business problems into viable, responsible and technically achievable AI solutions.

You will challenge, validate, shape, and curate client needs, ensuring that our AI solutions are robust, ethical, realistic, and commercially meaningful.

You will be accountable for the end‑to‑end SDLC delivery of AI features, from ideation to product release.

Responsibilities:

AI Product Ownership

  • Own the roadmap for AI‑related capabilities across core, on‑prem, and SaaS product lines.
  • Prioritise and refine the AI product backlog using a blend of client insight, data, feasibility and strategic direction.
  • Translate complex business problems into AI feature specifications with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Client & Market Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding AI features and capabilities.
  • Run discovery sessions to understand client expectations and ensure solutions are technically realistic and responsible.
  • Educate clients on AI capabilities, limitations, risks, and ethical considerations—ensuring expectations are managed appropriately.
  • Bridge feedback from wealth management clients into actionable product initiatives.

SDLC Delivery & Collaboration

  • Work hands‑on with AI engineers, data teams, and developers throughout the SDLC to ensure features meet product standards and client goals.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning for AI‑related workstreams.
  • Ensure that AI features are production‑ready, testable, explainable, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Quality & Compliance

  • Define and support testing processes for AI features, including explainability validation, model behaviour checks, and UAT.
  • Ensure alignment with data privacy regulations, model governance best practices, and ethical AI principles.
  • Support safe deployment of AI features across both SaaS and on‑prem environments.

Internal Evangelism & Support

  • Provide thought leadership internally regarding new AI capabilities, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support Sales, Product Marketing, and Client Success teams with understanding and articulating our AI value proposition.
  • Contribute to building a scalable and repeatable framework for AI feature development and deployment.

Why should you apply?

  • This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing FinTech environment with excellent growth prospects.
  • With a global client base the role offers an opportunity to experience a wide variety of digital transformation projects – each with their own unique requirements and opportunities.
  • We take career progression seriously, with investment into new and existing employee learning and development.
  • You will learn a lot with exposure to multiple complex client needs.

Who is best suited to this role?

  • 1+ year hands‑on experience owning or delivering AI features with clients (NLP, machine learning, generative AI, predictive modelling, workflow intelligence, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience in end‑to‑end SDLC delivery of a digital product—not just business change or transformation.
  • Experience working in the wealth management sector, private banking, or financial technology.
  • Proven ability to challenge, refine, and shape client requirements rather than simply relaying them.
  • Experience writing high‑quality user stories, product documentation, and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum product development.
  • Confident, flexible and excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex AI concepts for non‑technical audiences and engage with developers in technical details
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, design, and client‑facing teams.
  • Demonstrates a strong product-focused mindset, proactively soliciting customer feedback and translating insights into actionable user stories

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting both SaaS and on‑prem product deployments.
  • Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, ethical AI principles, and model explainability.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Python and Containerisation technologies
  • Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment

We believe we offer career defining opportunities and are on a journey that will build awesome memories in a diverse and inclusive culture. If you are looking for more than just a job, get in touch.
