AI Platform Engineer

At Dexory, we’re transforming warehouse intelligence through robotics, data and machine learning. We’re hiring an AI Platform Engineer to help build the data and infra foundations behind our next-generation AI systems.

This is a hybrid role between ML Infrastructure and Data Engineering. You’ll design and scale data pipelines (RAG, vector DBs, synthetic data), build the tools that keep our models performant, and work across disciplines to support LLM-based applications in the real world. This role will be remote-based in the UK with monthly visits to our Wallingford site expected. Due to this, we cannot consider people who are not based in the UK and will be unable to provide sponsorship. 

• Build scalable pipelines for retrieval-augmented generation, telemetry, and synthetic data

• Deploy and monitor ML models using modern MLOps stacks

• Own vector stores and CI/CD for both data and models

• Support annotation, data versioning, and metadata tooling for applied AI teams

• Work cross-functionally with ML, robotics and product teams

• 3–5+ years in ML infrastructure, data engineering or MLOps

• Python + cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) + orchestration (Airflow/MLflow/etc)

• Experience with LLMs, vector databases, ETL pipelines

• Bonus: Unity/Blender for synthetic data, observability tooling, robotics experience
