Who we are 🩵

We’re the people behind global loyalty currency, Avios, and home to two ambitious, growing businesses across Loyalty and Holidays. Each business has its own goals, strategy and team, but collectively we share a purpose to create the world’s most rewarding experiences for our customers through loyalty programmes, new products and holidays.

We’re on a truly exciting journey of growth and transformation – we’re going places! This is where you come in.

The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to accelerate AI adoption and capability across our organisation. This role is focused on working directly with teams to uncover opportunities, shape practical AI use cases, and build capability and confidence in applying AI tools day-to-day. You will work closely with the Talent Development Team and our Tech, Data and AI Domain to identify, prioritise and solve real business problems using AI, as well as developing content and guidance to help colleagues work smarter, faster and more creatively with AI

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys translating emerging AI technologies into tangible behavioural and workflow changes, fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

You will play a key part in equipping colleagues with the tools, techniques, knowledge, skills and confidence to adopt AI effectively, supporting the business’s ongoing transformation and strengthening our ability to innovate at pace.

This role is based out of our London office, with frequent travel to Crawley (home of British Airways Holidays), as well as occasional trips to our Madrid and Birchwood bases. We call our approach to hybrid working The Blend — it’s about giving you the flexibility to choose where you do your best work, while staying connected with your team and the wider business. This means that colleagues are required to spend at least two days per week in the office, with the rest of the time working from home. As a hands on, teams facing role you will often flex beyond those two days in order to best support teams across both Loyalty and Holidays.

What you’ll get up to🌠

AI Adoption and use Case coaching

  • Work with leaders to identify, prioritise and scope AI use cases, ensuring they are grounded in real workflow challenges and business value.

  • Coach teams through reimagining and improving processes using AI first thinking, building the skills needed to self- serve effectively.

  • Develop practical guidance, toolkits, and content to help colleagues apply AI technologies effectively.

  • Design, develop, and deliver AI learning experiences for colleagues across the organisation, and at all levels.

  • Monitor uptake and engagement, using data and feedback to improve learning interventions.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Partner with the wider People and Communications Domain to ensure AI learning is integrated into everything that we do, not bolted on.

  • Stay informed on AI trends, tools, and best practices, curating insights and translating them into practical guidance across the business.

  • Work closely with Talent Development to align AI initiatives with broader talent development and learning strategies.

Measurement & Improvement

  • Track progress and impact of AI enabled improvements and learning initiatives, reporting insights to relevant stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to address gaps in AI skills and confidence, supporting our progress through the maturity framework.

What we need from you 💡

Essential

  • Previous experience with AI tools, generative AI, or data literacy initiatives in a workplace context.

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, delivery-focused role, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams with clarity and confidence.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in learning design, colleague enablement, behavioural change and capability building, with strong exposure to AI tools and emerging technologies.

  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and track outcomes effectively.

  • Keen interest in staying up to date with AI trends, ethics, and workplace adoption practices

  • Solid experience of working in Agile organisations, well-versed in agile practices and mindset.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of learning principles and digital learning platforms.

We might not be right for you if:

  • You’re not comfortable up on your feet designing and running design thinking and learning experiences as a core part of your role.

  • You have a bias for more head down AI technical knowledge, rather than enabling colleagues and teams to use it more effectively.

  • You only want to focus on your to-do list; we’re a small, high-performing team, we help each other to succeed.

  • You value perfection over fast iteration and progress; IAG Loyalty moves fast, we learn and iterate as we go; our environment isn’t right for everyone.

  • You’re looking to create but not build; this is an end-to-end role, you need to be comfortable owning your space, from ideation through to delivery and review.

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please do still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
