As our AI-Enablement Principal, you will be the catalyst and a key leadership figure in our AI-native evolution. You are a visionary, a practitioner, and a coach, deeply convinced that AI will redefine software engineering. Your core mission is to embed AI development practices across our teams, leading from the front and acting as a force for change through your expertise, enthusiasm, and tenacity.

You will champion the adoption and mastery of cutting-edge AI tools and platforms, ensuring that our developers are not just using them, but are excelling with them. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on technical excellence, strategic leadership, and commercial savvy to drive meaningful and measurable transformation.

• Lead the Future of Software Engineering: As a senior technical leader, you will actively shape and refine our engineering discipline for the AI age. You will challenge even our most current 'cutting-edge' practices, introducing new delivery models that are faster, more creative, and uniquely suited to AI-powered development.
• Teach, Coach & Mentor: Serve as our foremost expert and thought leader on AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Google Gemini, Cursor, and Firebase Studio. You will design and deliver coaching, run pairing sessions, provide hands-on guidance to engineers, and coach product stakeholders in new collaborative methods like 'vibe coding' to better translate creative intent into technical execution.
• Lead by Example: Remain at the cutting edge by actively participating in development. You will jump into teams to model best practices, solve complex problems using AI tools, and demonstrate the art of the possible, earning credibility and inspiring others through your exceptional technical skill.
• Pragmatic Evangelism: Drive the adoption of AI-first development methodologies with a pragmatic and persistent approach. You will inspire and persuade developers, their leads, senior leadership, and stakeholders across other departments, overcoming resistance and fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation across the business.
• Drive Strategic Transformation: Partner with senior leadership, Tech Leads, and Delivery Managers to drive our core strategic objective: becoming a fully AI-native business. You will not just align with strategy; you will actively shape it, guiding leadership and the entire organization through the complex process of evolving our practices, culture, and delivery models to lead in the AI era.
• Commercial Articulation: Develop a keen understanding of the commercial impact of our AI transformation. You will be responsible for articulating the value of these new methodologies—from productivity gains to enhanced product capabilities—to business and finance stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.

• A Versatile Leader: You can effortlessly switch between modes: a hands-on coder one moment, a strategic advisor the next. You know when to direct, when to mentor, and when to coach, and you are comfortable and effective at influencing change regardless of hierarchy.
• An AI Tool Expert: You have deep, practical experience and are an expert user of multiple generative AI and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Co-pilot, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, etc.). You don't just know the features; you know how to wield them for maximum impact.
• A Process Pioneer: You don't just adopt new tools; you rethink the entire development lifecycle. You are a leader who is comfortable challenging established norms, even those considered best practice today, to introduce new, sometimes disruptive, ways of working that unlock greater potential.
