Your Role in the Team’s Success
The AI Enablement Lead Adoption will be responsible for leading and driving the strategic direction for AI adoption within IG's technology department. This leadership role will focus on leveraging AI to enhance technological capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and drive innovation.
This executive leadership role will architect and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that delivers bottom line P+L improvement and serves as one of the cornerstones of IG's digital transformation agenda, ensuring technological investments directly drive shareholder value and market position.
The initial focus for the role -the first 90 days -- will be to assess current AI initiatives against market benchmarks rapidly, identify immediate commercial opportunities, and develop a comprehensive investment roadmap with clearly defined ROI projections. This will include quantifying the costs-benefit, productivity and efficiency gains, and strategic competitive advantages that accelerated AI adoption will deliver. The role will then transition to executing and delivering high-value initiatives projected to deliver a minimum 3-5x ROI on investment within defined timeframes [hence the TBDs on the team size/scale section].
The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in technology and a passion for how AI can be leveraged for commercial advantage.
This group-wide role demands excellent interpersonal, influencing, partnering, commercial and relationship management skills.

Ensure this is actively and regularly shared across all technology teams
Innovation and Bold Testing: Foster a culture of innovation within the technology teams by encouraging bold experimentation with AI. Identify areas where AI can add significant value and drive initiatives to test and implement AI solutions. Promote a mindset of continuous improvement and learning, and establish how this knowledge is cascaded and communicated across the group.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure successful AI integration. Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide AI-driven solutions that address business challenges.
Performance Measurement: Establish a comprehensive commercial performance framework for all AI investments, with explicit metrics for revenue enhancement, cost reduction, customer experience improvement, and market differentiation.
