About this role

Aladdin Investments and Trading Engineering is responsible for building and evolving technology that supports portfolio management, trading, analytics, and compliance workflows across global markets. Within Analytics & Compliance Engineering, the team develops highly scalable technology solutions that help investment professionals and compliance teams manage investment guidelines, regulatory obligations, analytics-driven workflows, and operational controls.

The Investment and Trading Compliance Engineering team delivers technology that supports compliance throughout the asset management lifecycle. These platforms help organizations monitor and manage adherence to client mandates, internal policies, and regulatory requirements through high-throughput rule-processing capabilities operating at enterprise scale. The team is modernizing these platforms through workflow-driven user experiences, resilient service architectures, and responsible AI capabilities that enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

As an AI-Enabled Product Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of investment technology, compliance workflows, software engineering, and applied artificial intelligence. You will help shape the next generation of platform capabilities that support investment professionals, compliance specialists, and business stakeholders operating in complex global markets.

This role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership responsibilities. You will contribute directly to product delivery while driving adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices that accelerate development, improve quality, and increase operational effectiveness. Your work will influence both product outcomes and broader engineering practices across the organization.

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, delivery, and operational support of scalable full-stack product capabilities across Analytics & Compliance Engineering, providing hands-on technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle.
• Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to define requirements, shape architecture, evaluate trade-offs, and align teams on technical direction and delivery plans.
• Apply AI-enabled engineering practices and embed responsible AI capabilities into products and services to improve productivity, automation, knowledge discovery, and decision-making.
• Build scalable, resilient, secure, and observable systems that balance performance, reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
• Champion engineering excellence through automated testing, software quality practices, development operations, production readiness, and site reliability engineering principles.
• Mentor engineers, elevate technical standards, and contribute to a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Drive platform modernization initiatives that improve user experiences, operational controls, and business outcomes across investment and compliance workflows.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and platforms in production environments.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled engineering practices, intelligent development tools, and responsible AI techniques to accelerate software delivery and product innovation.
• Strong full-stack engineering expertise with modern application architectures, APIs, distributed systems, and large-scale platform design.
• Experience building and operating cloud-native platforms using modern infrastructure, deployment, observability, and platform engineering practices, including enterprise-grade container orchestration platforms supporting declarative infrastructure and horizontal scaling.
• Experience in financial services, investment technology, compliance technology, or regulatory technology environments, with an understanding of controls-oriented workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Our hybrid work model
