AI Business Analyst – Wealth & Asset Management
Location: London (Hybrid) | Practice Area: Wealth & Asset Management | Type: Permanent
Help wealth and asset management organisations unlock the value of AI through scalable, client-focused transformation
The Role
Join Capco’s Wealth & Asset Management practice as an AI Business Analyst, supporting leading investment managers, private banks, asset servicers, and wealth platforms as they explore and implement AI-enabled business transformation. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, AI enablement, and transformation delivery, helping clients translate emerging AI capabilities into practical business outcomes across front, middle, and back-office functions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and AI specialists to identify opportunities for Generative AI, workflow automation, and agentic AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, client servicing, investment operations, and employee productivity. The role combines stakeholder engagement, process analysis, requirements gathering, and delivery support within highly regulated financial services environments.
Alongside supporting transformation programmes, you will help clients navigate AI adoption responsibly by balancing innovation with governance, operational risk, regulatory expectations, and organisational readiness. You will contribute to workshops, process mapping, AI performance analysis, and change activities, ensuring AI-enabled solutions are measurable, practical, and aligned to business objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Work with stakeholders across wealth and asset management organisations to identify, analyse, and define AI-enabled business opportunities across investment operations, client servicing, onboarding, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Facilitate workshops, gather and document requirements, analyse business processes, and support the translation of operational and client challenges into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Support Agile and hybrid delivery programmes by contributing to backlog refinement, user stories, acceptance criteria, governance reporting, stakeholder coordination, and delivery activities.
- Partner with AI engineers, architects, product owners, and transformation teams to support the development, testing, validation, and rollout of AI-enabled capabilities within regulated investment and wealth management environments.
- Contribute to responsible AI adoption by supporting governance, risk, compliance, operational readiness, training, and change management activities across client organisations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working as a Business Analyst, Consultant, or transformation professional within Wealth & Asset Management environments, including exposure to investment management, private banking, asset servicing, or wealth platforms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused outcomes for operational and client-facing teams.
- Understanding of AI technologies and the wider AI/ML ecosystem, including Generative AI, GPT, Copilot, NLP, workflow automation, or agentic AI use cases relevant to wealth and asset management.
- Experience supporting digital, data, or AI-enabled transformation programmes, with exposure to Agile delivery methodologies, business process analysis, and change adoption activities.
- Analytical and adaptable mindset, with an understanding of governance, operational risk, regulatory considerations, and responsible AI adoption within financial services.
Bonus Points For
- Previous consulting or advisory experience supporting Wealth & Asset Management clients within a professional services environment.
- Experience supporting AI product delivery, workflow automation, client servicing transformation, or operational efficiency initiatives within investment or wealth management functions.
- Familiarity with investment operations, portfolio management workflows, client lifecycle processes, regulatory reporting, or data management within wealth and asset management.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, presentations, or management information to support AI performance tracking and business decision-making.
- Exposure to tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Power Automate, enterprise AI ecosystems, or investment operations technologies.
